My husband and I had been TTC since September 2015 , and each month that passed , I never got a BFP. I was just beginning to lose hope and decided to focus on building my career . That month I had been taking Vitex Fruit supplements just to help our chances , not thinking it would do much . 

Well I went to Vegas for a hair show with my friends and had a blast , was able to relax finally after being so stressed about TTC. I come home to my hubby and make love a few days in a row , missed him like crazy . 

Now , my period hasn't been very predictable or regular since I had my IUD removed in September , but I was "3 days late". 

So I dragged my husband to WALMART to buy some tampons and some 88cent tests . Assuming that , once again , my period is just irregular and that it will just be another BFN. 

Well we get home and I go to the bathroom and take a test (in the evening ) and at first I didn't see a second line , but then I started seeing a hint of a line . And I damn near collapsed . I walk out of the bathroom , still holding the test and staring at it , just fixated on the darkening 2nd line . I feel my heart beating harder and faster . I feel flushed , I feel anxiety and excitement , a rush of fear and adrenaline pour over me . 

My husband walks by and sees me just leaving over the counter . I tell him "um... I think it's positive"... He sees that I'm freaking out so tells me to relax and brings me over to the couch and tells me to breathe and take that anxiety and transform it into excitement . He was so sweet and just trying to help me calm down . I have really intense anxiety issues , and I never EVER thought I'd see the day where I would see that 2nd line appear . 

Him and I both were in disbelief and didn't want to get too excited just yet . So I hardly slept the entire night . At 5:30am , I got up and took a second test , waited 5 min and there it was . That 2nd line . After a whole night of restless & thoughtful moments , I was finally able to feel excited . I grabbed the basket of things I got for him when we first started trying . (Daddy books , custom onesie, card..etc) I put the + test in the basket and grabbed my digital camera and started recording . I set the basket on the bed and woke him up. As soon as he saw it , he just smiled and laughed , and said "are you really pregnant baby ?" ☺️ I said "yes!" 

He just kissed me and held me and was so happy and in love with the card and onesie. It was such an intimate and special moment that I will never forget . ❤️❤️❤️
