I have high blood pressure most likely due to PCOS because I am other wise healthy, and eat right and excercise. How do you ladies manage your high blood pressure? I am on nifedipine and it doesn't seem to be working. I randomly check my BP with those machines at hospitals/pharmacies and my readings are still somewhat high. Today it was 147/81. Would Metformin help this or is it unrelated? I just read that sometimes PCOSers can have insulin resistance and it might be related to high blood pressure? Please enlighten me if you have experienced this and gotten your BP under control. Thanks! Oh and also, I am on Clomid so I need something that is safe to take in case I get pregnant one of these years!!!
