5 day old newborn still rooting after feeds
I have a 5 day old newborn boy, and we exclusive breastfeed. Today he's been wanting to nurse every 1-1.5 hours, for 30-40 minutes at a time. And he's still rooting! He's becoming inconsolable with his crying. Is it possible he is honestly still hungry? Or can it be something else?! Maybe gas? Any ideas or help appreciated!
