So after I have my son in November (and when he's old enough), I'm considering going to work for a friend who watches kids from home. She would pay me cash every week. My thing is, I want to deposit it into my bank account so that I can make my car payment, etc. My husband is freaked out that the IRS will audit me and I'd have to explain where all the money came from every week. But if I had to explain, I don't want to get my friend in trouble because she's not licensed. Should I just deposit the money every week and not worry about it unless it happens? What would you do?
