Have any of you moms tried eating fresh pineapple to induce labor? If so do you think it worked?

My doctor told me the amount of pineapple you'd have to consume is unreal. But they do help with inflammation and are delicious!!!!

With my first I started walking in the morning on the track by my house and ate pineapple daily for a week straight and then I went into labor. She came 3 days before her due date. Not sure if it helped or not but pineapple is so good.

I love pineapples but I think my baby hates them. Ever since I've been pregnant pineapple has caused me to throw up every time I eat it. 3 times already! I thought the first two were a coincidence but the third time confirmed it was the pineapple 😩 I hope I go back to normal after I have her because pineapple is deff my favorite fruit!! So no pineapple for me to induce, I'd eat it everyday if it didn't make me super sick!

It's not the pineapple, it's the pineapple core that will cause contractions

Pineapples don't induce labor but it will shoot your blood pressure up there if you eat enough! My old boss did that with her baby and got induced at 37 weeks because her blood pressure shot up and the swelling wouldn't go down
