What is a fair amount for child support? We are settling without court. He left my daughter and I and said he would pay our bills completely.. He will not be seeing her as he sent us to our home province so he could do whatever he wants.. Cheated and lied and now dating the home wrecker.. I know that dosnt matter just stating what happened. I have a truck and phone bill I need paid 100%.. I was a stay at home wife for 3 years so I have $0 to my name.. I'm trying to get a job now. I think $1000 is fair, it covers my truck and phone bills and a tiny bit for food. He lives in Alberta and can very much afford to support us.. It's the least he V a do for leaving his fmaily for another girl. I could take him for child and spousal allowance but I really don't want to if he's going to help us. I'm just not that kinda person :( please voice your option or how much you got . I'm new to this and have no idea what to do.
