Birth control or no birth control???

So I'm irregular on my period, I lasted 5 months without it and finally got it last week. I heard if you start using brith control it regulars your period... But once you stop using birth control you gain a lot of weight is this true ????!

It was the reverse for me. I stopped and haven't gained anything. When I started it years ago I gained 20lbs. Every body is different. I've only heard of weight gain when you start.

I was on it and it was pretty regular, got off and haven't gained any weight. Well, not weight I didn't want anyway. And I found getting off it I'm still irregular.

Everyones body is different! My mom basically forced me to go on birth control when I was 15 because that's when I lost my virginity to my Fiancé. I just recently stopped taking it about 4 or 5 months ago &' im 18. Some birth controls effect getting pregnant for up to a year or more and now im having trouble getting pregnant. When I was on birth control I didn't gain any weight just a huge appetite lol and I was realllyyyy emotional which sucked. I started off using the Depo shot which I hated because the second time I went to get it because you have to get it every 3 months, I ended up having my period for a month, (No fun!) cramping every day and miserable! So afted that happened I just started taking the regular pill and still tried to find ways around the pill to get pregnant but I haven't yet, been trying for 3+ years now.
