The hook effect?

Anyone heard of this?? I'll try to make my story short but yesterday at 7+1 I decided to take a pregnancy test seeing as I still had a few. And to my concern the line was quite light. So I tested again this morning. Same thing. My first appt is tmrw afternoon and I was dreading going thinking my HCG was dropping. I finally decided to type it into google and found a couple things about the hook effect. Where your hormones are so high it's almost like the test thinks they're low. So just now with yet another test I peed in a cup. And added water. Line was as dark as it gets on the cheepo sticks. So I am once again optimistic for my appt tmrw!
