Multiple C-Sections?

Question

Does anyone have experience with having 2+ c-sections? Had one with my first and VBAC is not a good option for me.. I'm really nervous that it will be much harder to recover and feel normal after a 2nd one. What was your experience?

My second c section was soooooo much easier than the first, because you already know what to expect and what to do to feel better quicker! It was so easy I'm in for a 3rd one! Just have to move around and get on your feet because you'll heal so much faster!

I'm really worried about this too. My recovery totally sucked with my first csection and I'm high risk so a vbac is pretty much out for me too. I'm mainly worried about trying to recover while taking care of a newborn and a toddler 😳

I just went through my 3rd c-section 4 months ago, it's hard but you'll do great...all 3 of my babies were c-section & all close in age (3,4, 4 months) it hurt really bad, but it'll all be worth the pain & recovery when you've got lil one in your arms, good luck & try not to stress to much

My first one was a piece of cake, singleton. My second was horrible! Twins though so extra stretched out. Recovery took so much longer and I felt way worse. This pregnancy will also be c-section.

I will be having my 4th, and each time the recovery has been easier. My first was an emergency c-section. Got to a 9, baby was stuck, and my heart rate was dropping. The first one was scary because it was not what I had planned, and I didn't know what to expect. The 2nd and 3rd were a breeze!! You'll be fine:)

I was wondering the same thing. Do they use the same spot again? Do you have multiple scars? Did you have a problem breastfeeding? With my first I felt like it was almost impossible to breast feed at first because I was so out of it. I ended up being able to once I got home but I would really like to from the start. Also it was my first baby so I was scared of everything including my baby dying of hunger lol =)

I had two c-sections and am having #3 in late In February! Recovering from the second CS was SO much easier because I knew what I was in for! I made sure to get up and walk as quickly as I could but the recovery took me less than half the time to get back to normal :)

This will be my 4th. And it's really gotten easier with each. The planned ones were better than my emergency one.
