Spotting on the pill

Hey, I'm half way through my cycle, I take the pill at the same time everyday however about 5 days ago I forgot it for about 12 hours. Now I'm spotting and have cramps. The last time I had sex was about 10 days ago and I used a condom. I get paranoid about being pregnant but can anyone assure me that they've spotted and had cramps on the pill?
