Baby moon ideas?!

My husband and I have decided we want to start TTC soon! But we also really want to have one last adventure just the two of us.

I really wanted to save up and go to a different country, but with planning for a baby I think I'd rather do a vacation on a budget and put money towards the baby. I live in Virginia if that helps.

I'll take any ideas! I'm kind of lost on where to start but I know we won't have as much spontaneous time with a baby!

We are TTC but also want to go visit Family which are out of country. My family is in the UK (99% of the ones who actually speak to me regularly) I only have my dad here in the states. For a round trip ticket to the UK per person in January of next year it would be over 3 thousand dollars per person. Luckily we could probably stay with a few family members but he also wants to visit Scotland where his ancestors are from. His mom and dad are currently in Mexico trying to build up a bed and breakfast while trying to sell it because the whole thing was someone else's idea and then they abandoned them leaving them with the burden. They are in Puerto Vallarta and tickets per person to fly them out to us are $406 something last I checked in January of next year. The further you push a flight out the better and I have also been told that if you book the flights to leave on Wednesdays it will be cheaper.

I'd look at cruises. Lots of times you can get a really good deal for under $1000 a person. That's what I'm looking at for our honeymoon cuz we are both in college and broke af 😂

Just watch out for places with zika virus. We're also trying to decide on a place to travel to but I'm not willing to go south. I suggested niagra falls!

Did you want to stay in the country or out of the country ? Puerto Rico is a cheap alternative out of the country
