I'm starting to feel like this is never going to happen.

My husband and I have been ttc for 9 months now with no luck. I've consulted with my OB/GYN and he suggested using an ovulation predictor kit which was not helpful. My cycle lasts anywhere from 28-39 days and is always inconsistent. Because of this, it's extremely difficult to pinpoint when I'm ovulating. Last month the kit indicated that I was and we had sex before, during, and after with no luck. I started my period yesterday and I feel helpless. Please offer helpful tips/advice! I'm really feeling down.
