How long have you been married?

I am just curious I have quite a few classmate/ acquaintances that I've known and I see they where married and are no longer & have deleted any trace of ever being married I just wonder why and if yur still marries how hard has it been and when did it get easier,,, I've been married a lil over a year & its hard but I'm determined to make it work

I put 2-4 years but we are a couple weeks away from 5 years. For us marriage didn't change anything. Our relationship, like all relationships, has had its ups and downs but we always work through it together. From the few people I've seen get married and then divorced usually they didn't live together before hand or assume the other person will change because they got married. My husband and I lived together starting 4 months into our relationship. By the time we got married, 3 years after we started dating I had a clear idea of who I was marrying. I'm lucky because I'm sure others have had similar situations and haven't stayed together. Team work and communication are also key to making it work. Compromising on issues as well. All relationships and people are different so there isn't a one size fits all solution. Talk to your SO and work on any issues together.

8 years. Honestly, it has yet to be as hard as people have told us it would be, especially since we got married at 20/21. There has been some learning on both our parts and I'm sure there's still plenty to go, but he respects me and genuinely puts me before himself and I try to do the same. It's hard to not get along when you both take that approach.

Ive been married 11years now. Got married really young too. We've always had ups and downs but got through them. The grass isnt always greener on the other side. So as long as there's no abuse or infidelity than everything else is petty and needs to be let go.

We've been married almost 9yrs in October, with our 3rd baby due any day and I truly love my husband more now than I ever thought I could.  We've been through the loss of a parent, 2 miscarriages, loss of a job, and moving 3x.  It's not been easy and we've had our problems but we both truly believe that God made each of for each other and strive to put the other person first on a daily basis.

It's not the most popular view, but because my husband and I each choose to live our lives according to how God wants, it makes the hard times growing opportunities and the easy times a blessing.  Anyhow, I'm the high stress, tell it like it is person and he's the relaxed more cool and logical person.  Both personalities have good/bad points but ultimately we are best friends and to this day, would rather do things together than separately.

Married for almost 7 years with baby number 3 on the way. It hasn't always been the best of time. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband lost his job with in the first two years of marriage. He has an amazing job now. It takes work and lots of communication. Ups and downs should make your relationship stronger not weaker as you grow closer together.

Almost 3 lonnnnnngggggggggggg years. I have my divorce papers, haven't filed them yet. Haven't seen him since Dec 2014.
