Only the religious get 'possessed'

Am I the only one that has noticed that all these story's and horror films and documentaries about people getting possessed by the devil or whatever have all happened in families or groups or towns of people that were all Christians/Catholics/religious people in general? I've never really seen a story of Athiests getting possessed. Am I the only one that's noticed this? Do you think that because of the religion that they may sometimes disregard medical evidence to support why someone is acting in a weird way and get believe that they are 'possessed'? Are there actually any story's of Athiests getting 'possessed'? It all just seems a bit sus to me. What do you think?
