What size clothing are you buying for your twins?

Do you just expect them to fit in new born clothes? My son was in 0-3 months clothes right out the gate. I don't know what to get for the first month or two.

My twins were born at 37 weeks and had no NICU time. They were 5lbs1oz and 4lbs8oz.....my twins were in premie until they were probably 2 months old. I would say have a few premie but don't overload, you can always buy a few extras if you need.

I bought 4 unisex nb onesies. My boy and girl wore them once but were very uncomfortable coz they were cold. I ordered full sleeve snap shirts from amazon - one set for each baby and 6 whites in common. They fit them well and have foldable mittens to the sleeves so you don't have to deal with mittens. My babies didn't keep the mittens on. They weighed 5.13 and 5.7 at birth.

My littles where 5 lbs 12 ozs and 6 lbs 5 ozs they were both 19 inches long. Length plays a big roll in size they never wore premie but wore newborn he first two months

with twins being high risk and usually come early for some of us, I got tons of newborn (0-3) since preemie is hard to find. that way they grow into them. also getting tons of newborn diapers but not opening them just in case I need to return them

From personal experience in having preemie babies - no need to pre-buy preemie clothes because of they are that small you'll likely be in nicu and have time to run out for a few outfits before they come home. Mine were in newborn until they were 3-4 months old.

I am currently pregnant with twin girls, and my was also 0-3 months when born (he was 8 lbs). For my girls I've bought 10 newborn outfits and a small box of newborn diapers just to be on the safe side, but everything else is 0-3 months or size 1 because I don't think they'll be that small very long.
