My mom is bitching at me because when my boyfriend and I go out to eat we split the check and she's telling me he has to pay for everything we have been together since 2014 and it just seems fair that we split the check 
He even pays the bigger half including the tip I only pay the smaller half 
To me it seems fair that we split the check

I think that's awesome. My hubby and I switch up who pays, but he pays more often, but I buy groceries 85% of the time. It all balances itself out.

Do what you both feel is right for one another. He shouldn't be obligated to and if you feel more comfortable with splitting the bill and it works out then why not? If he insists (or yourself) on paying the entire thing then let him.

No I mean if he's ok with it hen yes, but a relationship is 50/50. My fiancé and I do where he'll pay and then the next time I pay or if we get fast food we pay separately and then groceries are 50/50, but now we have a joint bank account so it's differ t now

No way! I believe what you two are doing is fine! 😊😊 honestly sometimes I wish my boyfriend would understand that I would want to help pay or that we could split the bill. Like I get the whole gentleman thing about paying, but to me, I end up feeling guilty. (Idk why I just do) anyways so now the two of us change it up between who pays for what.
