Breast pumps?!

Question

I want advice on which type of pump to get. I want the good and negative reviews! I haven't been told much about either just with manual you can "pull" so to speak longer than a electronic which pumps in a sort of rhythm. I want to get it before baby is due to learn how to use it properly.  TIA!

Spectra s2 is definitely your best option. It has customizable suction length and speed. And it's a closed hospital grade system. I loved it!

I had experience with Medela and Ameda and I can say (In my opinion) I hated the Ameda. It didn't have a good pull(suction) and I felt myself doing more work to get the milk out and ended up more sore than usual. With the Medela all I had to do was pop those suckers in and it handled the rest 😂😂 Plus I was less sore with it.

I've had both a manual and and electric and I personally find the electric one is more convenient especially the different speeds/settings. When you start pumping you need it to "suck" stronger and towards the end just turn it down so it doesn't suck so hard. It mimics a baby feeding.
