Am I Alone? Health Problems

Question

Today my obgyn told me I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome ... I've been reading about it and I'm wondering how common it is. Anybody else have this? Or has had it? Thanks in advance for your time or words of advice .

This might not be completely helpful but I can say that my family has a history of PCOS. My aunt has had it and was unable to bear children. In addition, a lot of my family has told me that I am susceptible to getting it (especially since my period is rather short and irregular). Plus, diabetes runs in my family, which is associated with PCOS. All I am saying is that you are definitely not alone.
