Lie to my parents or Cancel my trip?

I booked a 4ngt trip to Vegas with my ex. We are fwb and we understand those terms. my parents are religious/strict so theyllbe asking too many questions about me leaving home for 4 nights. I was planning on telling a lie.  It's the only way I can go. Should I cancel the trip or go on the trip ad enjoy myself but lie to my parents? I'm 24 btw.

If you are 24, why should your parents have any say? Do you live with them? Do you they support you financially? If yes, then either tell them the truth or cancel your trip. If they don't support you financially, why shouldn't you do what you want?

Youre 24. Say youre going to Vegas. Youre a grown woman now, even if you still live at home. If you have a job and a life they need to understand. And they cant stop you from going.

I'm 20 and live with my fiancé and I go visit family out of state (his and mine) frequently without telling my parents every detail. Most of the time I don't tell them I'm going until they ask what I'm doing and I say driving to so and sos. You're an adult.
