Something told me to do a background check on myself because people have tried to steal my identity. An address is showing up under all my searches, but I don't live there. There is even a P.O. box being used. I never stayed in the city, but afraid I know who is doing it.

You can call the SS office and the credit bureaus and report it. So they can put a watch on it.

Girl you need to step it up and check that out. It may not seem bad now but it might come back and bite you in the butt later on. ( Like during income tax season.)

U need to get on it asap someone did the same to me n went to baton rouge and tryd to cash a check with my id i live in,vegas never been there they put,a fugitive felony warrent out for me just so happen Igot pulledover forspeeding theytook.meto,the.county JailI did.26 days and BR came and got meand I went to      thereprison had to bail( out Its Still on  my record Never been convicted they drop it but Is still on My scope!!!!

You need to start notifying all the proper agencies as soon as possible and I'd also recommend signing up for a service to monitor your credit and any fraud. You don't want this hurting you during tax season. My mom found out her identity was stolen last year when she went to file her taxes online and couldn't because someone has already stolen her social and filed. It was a huge ordeal that took tons of time to clear up and the IRS was less than helpful at that point.
