Gaining weight and muscle

Every time I try to gain it, it always JUST goes to my stomach and I hate it... I'm trying to gain weight, but the fat just goes to one spot and it makes me feel insecure about my body. 
I'm skinny and I have broad shoulders so my body shape looks really weird so I don't like to go out a lot... So I thought that maybe gaining weight around my hips would help make my body look better but nothing seems to work... 
So instead of gaining fat, I want to try and gain muscle but I don't have money for a gym (im 16 but my parents don't want me getting a job), and I don't have any weights either.
Does anyone know any quick and effective ways to gain muscle in my arms, stomach and thighs? I want to try and get a bigger butt to. Thank you!
