When are you having your baby shower???

I was thinking around 30 weeks was good then I realized that's in December and I'm not sure anyone would like splitting holiday shopping and baby shower shopping.
Also my miscarriage was due in mid December so that's a sad time for me and I don't know if I'd feel up for it.

October or before is too early.
December is holidays.
January is post holiday savings building time.

I'm doing mine the weekend of Dec 8th bc that's my birthday. I know it's around the holidays but if your family does Black Friday shopping (like mine does) then they may be able to get more and save money in the process :)

Doing ours after we have the baby. We're not finding out gender and all my friends refuse to do gender neutral stuff (which I am totally ok with.  Lol) so everyone has agreed that after is best. We did that with my daughter and it was really fun cause everyone got to hold her and snuggle her!

I think we are planning for the first weekend in December. This way any guests can take advantage of Black Friday sales if they want, and it's hopefully early enough that people won't have plans for holiday parties that weekend, since it's also only a week after Thanksgiving.

Not sure yet. February is an awkward month. I don't wanna do it in the midst of holiday season but no one wants to buy gifts in January lol.

I'm due Feb. 13th & I go back & forth between wanting to do 1 in early Jan. OR wanting to do it in early to mid November. I want to do 1 w/ my hubby & all our couple friends not just an all ladies 1 so I wanna make sure people r gonna be available but I guess in the long run it doesn't really matter. If it ends up only being 10 people it'll still be fun :)

My due date is 2/10.  My sister went 4 weeks early with 2 of her 3 kids so I didn't want to get to far into January.   But with Christmas and New Year's - December is out for me.   Right now I'm planning on having my shower Saturday January 7th!  That will be 35 weeks for me.

Yea being due in February is a tough time. My family does a huge get together (30+ people) for thanksgiving so to do another for a baby shower a couple of weeks later is tough. But I'm letting my mom and mother in law handle that. If the family can come then great, if not it's not that big of a deal 😃
