I assume you mean gaining weight just because of drinking milk, and not drinking ONLY milk? Haha. I mean milk has fat in it so sure, you can gain fat from it if you don't exercise I guess... And that's one reason people drink less fat/low fat milk as opposed to whole milk which has more fat. Also, everyone's body react differently to different foods and some people gain and lose weight easier than others. However, we all have water weight so it is normal for your weight to fluctuate a few pounds each day solely due to water weight, not what you are eating.

Dairy, contains inflammatory properties, and is really hard on your digestive system. You may feel like you're "gaining weight" but it's really inflammation....although, people tend to lose weight when they cut out dairy, gluten, alcohol and caffeine, so if you're feeling like you've gained weight, I'd suggest limiting your intake on all of those food sources 😊

My mom claims if she drinks anything more then 1% milk she gains weight i usually drink whole milk and dont gain but i have a great metabolism lol

Milk is good for you, to a certain extent... Think about it.  What is cow milk used for?  For fattening up the baby cows🐄🐮 so I don't really reccomend it
