I take it out, because I want to let her breathe. I won't sleep with it in either.

Take it out cuz I don't like having a wet string hanging out after and feel fresher/cleaner overall

Guess I don't understand why so many people take it out? No harm in leaving it in. I don't stick my fingers up into me to clean myself when I shower because the vagina is self cleaning so I can still shower with it in.

Leave it in cuz I'm not about to bleed all over a towel or the floor lol but I change it after I get out of the shower because the string is all wet and gross

It depends. If ive got my period and I'm showering for example after I've only had the tampon in for an hour to so then I'll leave it in. If it's been in long enough to fulfil its job let's say, then I'll take it out before I get in the shower

Having a tampon in doesnt stop you showering and cleaning yourself as you shouldnt wash inside anyway. If you have had it in a while i would prob put a fresh one in
