Told my Mother-in-law we're expecting and now she's trying to change my birth plan...

After hearing the news from my husbands mother that his sister with fertility problems is pregnant and that she's using the same ob/gyn that birthed them and their uncle we decided to let her know we are too (about a month ahead of her). I've always talked about doing a midwife. First thing out of her mouth after the initial suprise was " Now Dr ** can birth both my grandbabies!" Told her flat out I don't have insurance, can't get insurance until January (baby due end of Jan beginning of Feb) and am set on a midwife anyway. After telling her I went to work and she took my husband to look at insurances, none will take me, and convinced her doctor to give us a cheaper price than the midwife group I've been using since I was a teenager and now my husband is set on using her doctor... I love the discount but I wanted my midwife group! Am I just being ungrateful and too picky???
