Hidden twin?

I know this is ridiculous, but humor me, please 😜. 
I'm 12 weeks 1 day today. I got pregnant while taking clomid. My husband was CONVINCED we were having twins. I had my first ultrasound 3 1/2 weeks ago when I was 8 weeks, where they confirmed only one baby. I thought that would be the end of hearing from my husband about twins (don't get me wrong, I'd love to have twins). He's still somehow convinced I'm pregnant with twins and they just "missed" it.

I'm just curious, has that happened to anyone here or anyone you know? I'm just wondering if it's even possible?

It's funny because my fiancée is convinced I'm having twins and when I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and 4 days, showed only one baby....but he's still convinced it's twins. I googled missing twins in early ultrasound and before 10 weeks it's possible to miss seeing twins. So maybe you are having twins.

Mine still jokes too because I've been so sick🙄.  Don't get me wrong, I wanted twins, but I've had 3 ultrasounds and I doubt 3 people missed a child lol they did say at the first (8 weeks) it was very possible to not see both though that early!

I had a dream the other night at my 12 week appt coming up on Friday the doctor will listen to heartbeat and will find more than one 😁. However, at my 9 week ultrasound they said its most likely just one and very rarely have they missed another one.
