Is 15 too young to get a promise ring? We've been dating for quite awhile- almost 9 months. I love him so much, and I really do think I will end up marrying him eventually. When I even mentioned wanting a promise ring some day, my mom started yelling at me for being too immature and stupid to even think about getting married some day and that I need a chastity ring before anything else. I'd understand that she doesn't want me to leave her but she's been so unbelievably abusive towards us. I'm adopted, and so is my older brother (not biological) and my little biological brother and sister. She's always been very rude about me dating my boyfriend and tried telling me that he lies to me and that he's not a virgin, and telling me that I'm not good enough for him and then she goes and tells him what a horrible person I am. It really hurts that she does that and I've tried reasoning but she won't do it. Am I really too young and immature to get a promise ring?
