17, i might be pregnant...any advice?

I am 17 and I may be about 7 weeks pregnant. I have missed a period, and I have other signs of being pregnant. I took a pregnancy test last week and it came up negative, but my doctor thinks I'm pregnant so tomorrow I'm getting blood work done, at her request, to see if I'm expecting. I'm really scared, and I have so many thoughts and questions right now. If there are any teen moms on here I would love to hear how you told your family, how you decided if you should keep the baby, anything that could calm my nerves.

Stay strong girlie! If it's true, please don't harm that baby. God is with you through it all and if you cannot keep it, give it to someone who can...just word from family experience

This is pretty straight forward: don't listen to the people saying flat out "please don't hurt the baby" or "you need to buck up and jeep it." It's YOUR decision and you have options if it turns out you are pregnant. What's best for some people may be totally different for you. Do what YOU AND ONLY YOU feels is right. You DO have options. Don't feel guilty about whatever you choose.

It's going to be okay just tell them they will be upset but they will eventually get over it and you should keep the baby

I had my first at 16. Just bite the bullet and tell them straight forward.  Don't beat around the bush and tell them what your decision is as far as keeping the baby or whatever you choose to do. Things arnt as bad as they seem to be right now. You'll be just fine

Take a deep breath, take it one day at a time, thouroughly think through things before making any life changing decisions, but most importantly STAY IN SCHOOL!! I had mine at 17 and 19. It hasn't been easy but wouldn't have it any other way. 31 now and TTC so I really wanna say congrats and good luck!
