Second pregnancy, 20 weeks, hardly feel any movement

amber
I am 20 weeks 2 days into my second pregnancy. At this point in time with my daughter I was feeling movement almost all the time, but with this baby all I feel is flutters unless I put a little pressure to my stomach or drink something really cold, is that normal? I go to my ob on Wednesday (August 3rd) to find out the gender and everything, but it has me worried that I'm only feeling flutters, should I be worried if I am feeling some movement?

I'm 19 weeks 5 days and was in the same boat. Had my anatomy scan Thursday and I do have an anterior placenta. I have started to feel a little bit more as she likes to bury her head deep in my cervix

20 weeks... I have this, too. And he doesn't poke back like my last one did (we still call him Pokey!..long story..). I usually don't feel him wiggle until nighttime when I lay on my side after sugaring him up.

I am the same 20 weeks and feel the same as you but I am a plus size woman so I don't know if that is why

My doc said to expect movement between 18-22 weeks so you are still well within the normal range. I have an anterior placenta and started feeling baby around 20 weeks still very gentle.

With my first I had an anterior placenta & didn't feel him until a little after 20 weeks. My second started moving at 16 weeks to the day & he would continue to beat me up daily. I didn't even know it was possible for a baby to move that much!! My 3rd I started feeling pokes around 18 weeks & I'm 21 weeks now & still not feeling much. There are some days that I don't feel her until I lay down for bed at night. My midwife just said every pregnancy is different so I'm hoping its normal. My first baby didn't move much either.

Ypu may have an anterior placenta so the kicks and movements are cushioned x
