Can I drink water while fasting for my glucose test?

Yes. In my experience anything that requires fasting does not include water. You can drink water - "clear" fluids are allowed - ie black coffee (no sugar, milk/cream) and water

I wasn't told to fast for mine. I was told to eat and drink as I normally would.

For the one hour, you should be fine. For the three hour, no water.
