Depo Shot

I'm currently on the depo shot , going on shot # 4 , I feel like I want to research other options just because the last 3 shots have made me feel miserable. Nauseated, breast tenderness, and always feeling hungry. I feel like my symptoms have slowed down since my last injection but I also bleed couple weeks before my next shot. I know they also say it can cause infertility and osteoporosis if using long term. I don't plan on having another baby anytime soon. I've already tried the pill and Nuvaring. Can anyone else share their likes/ dislikes about their birth control method? Also if there is anyone else on the depo shot who has become pregnant , just out of curiosity how did you 'know' you were? Just wondering since the shot tricks the body into thinking you already are pregnant.
