Ill be turning 44 this wednesday do u think i should give up on trying? Its been about a year and no positive test and me and my partner have sex almost everyday except for my days on my period. What do u all think?

Well.. I have a neighbor who is 45 and after 2 years trying she gets pregnant and she had a beautiful and healthy baby girl.. I think you don't give up especially if you have a positive mind😊

Take coq10 and use pre seed. Worked for me after ttc for 10 years. Every fertility treatment failed! I also have low ovarian reserve pcos endo hashimotos and am in peri menopause. I had my two amazing boys at 41 and 44 via natural Conception and they are perfect! Good luck X

I had my son at 43 and am ttc again at 45. I miscarried last month at 8 weeks.  I use opks and take supplements especially for us older ladies! I have had 3 chemicals this last year too.  Not too hopeful of a bfp but my oh wants to keep trying.  Good luck to u too.

I think accepting something that hasn't happened is as hard as giving up something solid, some times harder. Whilst women can get pregnant in their forties it is not common, and occurs at lower frequency because of deteriorating egg quality.  
I think if you are thinking about it you should discuss it with your partner. You might set a finish line some months out. You might do some of those things that help us close chapters of our lives... Parties, wakes, letter, notices, ceremonies. It won't stop a surprise pregnancy, but it might help you come to terms with the grief should the pregnancy not happen. The pregnancy doesn't happen for lots of us.

I'm 44 and I've been trying after I had 3 miscarriages 2011, 2012,& 2013 its been a struggle but I'm trusting and believing in GOD to bless me with my miracle baby I'm sending baby dust and 🙏🙇👼

I would go to your Dr and have a work up done if you have not already. We can't do anything about our age but sometimes there are other factors affecting our fertility that we CAN do something about. Best of luck to you and lots of Baby Dust!

Are you open to other options?  Fertility treatments, ivf, donor eggs?  There is always hope depending on how far you are willing to take it. Best of luck to you
