How soon is too soon to take your newborn anywhere?

I want to stay home until he's a month but when is it actually safe to take your newborn somewhere like to take him down at the store?

I took mine out once we started to figure each other out. The first time she screamed and it was horrible and I almost had an anxiety attack trying to get home with her lol, but I was so new. Looking back I should have just stopped, shoved a boob in her face and carried on lol. I was nervous about whipping a boob out in public though, not now!

Take into consideration the time of year / season it will be when your baby is born. I'm expecting a winter baby in January so I know for the first two to three months majority of my time will be at home away from all the sick people 😊

I think it's just whatever your comfortable doing with your baby and when you feel it's the right time. They're people who take their 2 week olds out to dinner. I think waiting a month is good though if that's what you'd like to do, I don't think they're is a right or wrong way to go about it :)

If it's not crowded, you can take baby and cover stroller with a muslin blanket to prevent people from looking into the stroller or touching. Use hand sanitizer if you go to touch the baby while you're out and about. Crowded stores I would avoid.

I've heard from some other moms that it's better to take them out right away to help build up their immune system. But it's just what I've heard when I asked other moms. It's really up to you tho. They may be wrong who knows. Lol

Most pediatricians will tell you to wait until they've had at least one round of vaccines which is around 2 months. My mom was told to keep my sister away from kids until 2 or 3 if possible which is ridiculous

It's good to take them out when they are little to help build up their immune systems. Just don't let people reach in and touch them cause for one that's weird lol I don't know you so get your hands away from my baby lol
