Am I being irrational?

I am currently sitting in my hospital bed recovering from just having my gallbladder removed at 31 weeks pregnant. I am in so much pain, but I was expecting that. I'm frustrated though, because when I decided to do the surgery, they told me I'd be staying overnight to monitor the baby in the maternity unit. Now that I'm done, they're saying that I probably don't need to stay overnight, the baby is fine. I had to beg them to take me to the maternity ward, and they finally did. But I know if they make me go home, I'm going to stress out and wonder if he's okay. I was under general anesthesia, which sorta freaked me out about the baby in the first place. Am I being irrational in wanting to stay overnight?
