Advice on taking tums?

I have heartburn and acid in my throat so extremley bad, but I can't stand the taste and chalky feeling of the tums, any mommys have any good tips taking tums without chewing them? Ahhh 😭

They have a chewy kind, they don't taste chalky at all! I take those because the chalky flavor makes me gag. Lol

You can also take Zantac if you can't do the tums.

I just suck on them. The chalkiness only bothers me if I chew them up. If I need to eat it quickly I chew it fast and away from my tongue and swallow it like a pill basically with a lot of water.

I have chewy ones that look (and kinda taste) like mentos. They aren't chalky at all and I actually rather enjoy them since they taste like candy.

Have you tried the smoothie ones? They are still nasty but not as nasty.
