What now?

I have PCOS and my husband and I decided in April to start trying. I've had 2 doses of Clomid with no dominant follicles. My Dr. switched me to Femara and no dominant follicles with it either. She said we could do another 4 doses and then she could refer me onto a reproductive endocrinologist or just refer me now. What's the next step with the next Dr.?

Isn't there more you can do with the dosage of clomid or the other meds? Usually they'll up the dose each month to see how you respond. Have they tried that? But if they're all out of options with clomid a referral to another specialist is a good idea! Why wait when you know there's an issue that needs fixing.

I'm sorry you're having trouble, and that I couldn't offer more info. I also have endo and adeno on top of pco, so was never able to try the different medication options. Ttc takes time, but I'm all for grabbing the bull by the horns and taking control. If one dr has run out of ideas a new dr or second opinion is always a good idea.
