Is having sex with your ex boyfriend a good idea?

My ex boyfriend and I dated last year but every now and then we hook up. However I'm not sure if that's holding m back from finding someone else. HELP.

I've had this problem, and for me it was very emotionally draining and toxic for me to keep sleeping with him. This may be because I was still emotionally invested and felt like I was being used only for sex and that I didn't mean much to him etc. Personally I would stop having sex with him especially if you still have any feelings for him because it's probably not good /it's toxic and could prevent you from moving on

Me and my ex have uh "communicated" and recently but before we broke up we never had sex so we really had unreleased sexual feelings or eachother. It's only happen twice so I haven't had any of my old feelings (that I spent literally two years trying to get over him) come back. We just chill.. But I don't know maybe if it continues the feelings will come back (I really hope not 😩)
