Can anyone share their HSG stories?

Question

I'm interested to know people's experiences of the HSG procedure... more spesificly, afterwards. 
 
Any luck with conception? 
If so how long?

Did you experience any pain after?
If so how long for?

I had my procedure a month ago now and have been in agony ever since. Been on a course of antibiotics and still no change to the pain. Doc says it's normal and procedure is perfectly safe but clearly something isn't right here?

Mine hurt like crazy for about a week . I conceived the following cycle

It was painful and some black discharge was coming out after, for about two days. Thank God I conceived a month after.

Had an hsg last yr. The process itself was painful . No pain after wards. No luck conceiving right after...

I had one in march, very uncomfortable and felt like they ripped my uterus out on the way out. Had cramping the rest of the day. Still no luck ttc. Took us 8 yrs naturally for our 3 yr old daughter, and have been trying for 2 yrs for #2. Start first round of clomid whenever next cycle starts

Sorry my pain lasted about a week. After the first day it cane down on the pain scale to about a 5. I am sorry you are having pain still.

I had my HSG last year. I would try to have your SO by your side. You will feel more comfortable and have someone there that cares. It hurt for me durning and about 2 hours later it felt like my uterus was trying to pull its self out because of what i put it through.  I know feelings and pain is different for everyone but that was my experience.
