Looks like a cold sore...could be an STI. Try abreva Chapstick or lysine pills(OTC) if that doesn't work see a doctor

It's a cold sore/fever blister, really it is herpes simplex 1.  Use abreva on it and I use since oxide at night to help dry it out

If you can't get OTC or prescription meds right away, make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply it generously to the affected area with clean fingers. It will sting a little bit but gives quick results.

At this point medication (OTC or prescription) will not have much effect on the cold sore. You need to treat it at the first sign/tingle for any medication to be effective.

I think the Orajel Single Dose treatment is the most effective over the counter but it is just bactine. I would buy one Orajel and a bottle of bactine then apply the bactine in the same manner.

You can also go to the doctor and get a prescription for Valtrex. You cannot use this med if you are pregnant. But if you take it when you first feel the cold sore it greatly reduces the outbreak. Also, you can take it to prevent cold sores if you are exposed to any triggers (sun, stress, fever).

Unfortunately you can never get rid of the herpes virus and Subsequent outbreaks are common but you can manage the symptoms. You will be fine. Cold sores are very common.

Finally, DO NOT KISS, SHARE A DRINK, OR ANY OTHER LIP CONTACT with anyone during and outbreak.

A cold sore. You could apply ice pack to it to take down some of the swelling. And apply some gel or cold sore cream to it. I'm lucky I don't suffer from them. X

I get them too and just use Carmex and mind goes away withen like 3 days
