How soon would you tell your parents you were expecting? Especially if you are really close to them.

I feel like I would need my mom and our families there for support right away even if things ended in a mc.

I haven't gotten my bfp yet (6 months TTC) but I'll be telling my immediate family and close friends almost right away!

I am TERRIBLE at keeping secrets so I wouldn't last long keeping it to myself!

My mom is also a NICU nurse and was one of the major forces that helped make midwifery and home births legal and accessible in Nova Scotia so she'll be a HUGE asset when we do get pregnant :)

If your close to your parents then tell them right away! How exciting I wouldn't want to keep that in! But maybe for te rest of the family I would wait a little longer because if something does happen

I told my mom right away. I went on to have a mc 8 weeks later. This time around, I'll probably wait to tell her until later on. But you never know, I may get excited and blurt it out early.
