Rare to medium rare steak?

I am at 6weeks and 4 days. Please tell me that I can have a steak that is, at least, medium-rare!

I wouldn't eat any meat with pink still in it. Very risky for baby. Why risk the health of our precious little ones over a simple food we can easily avoid? Not worth it to me, I won't take the chance personally with my little girl inside of me.

I've been eating mine medium well.  Still pink on the middle.  😊 they say everything is bad for you!  Just eat yourself a steak and enjoy it!

Go for it. Bacteria on a steak is on the outside so it's killed off if cooked rAre

Even if you just eat one steak today, you still have the chance of getting food poisoning from it. My doctor told me no runny eggs and it made me so sad because I LOVE my eggs over medium! But I've had salmonella poisoning before and it was the worst food poisoning I've had in my life.
My entire abdomen and back were cramping for an entire week while I spent most of my time sitting on the toilet and simultaneously vomiting into  the tub. Imagining going through that again except while pregnant scares the crap out of me! Taking the chance of being miserable like that is NOT worth some eggs or undercooked steak to me at all 😩

I still eat my steak medium rare.. It wouldn't even be worth eating to me if it was any other way.. Is there a risk to it .. Sure.. but it's very slight!

you can eat anything you want, it's up to you how healthy you want your baby to be. Red meat is bad for you, it makes your body acidic and during pregnancy that's a bad environment for your baby. Of course you won't SEE any huge adverse reactions but the baby is constantly being epigenetically changed by the decisions you make during pregnancy. I don't eat anything that I wouldn't feed to my baby if they were already here

I've been eating my steaks well done, but I also have a father in law who knows how to make a damn good well done steak!

No it has to be fully cooked. The risk of developing samonella or any other food born illness it's twice as dangerous to your baby
