Holy Moly

Had our 33 week appt today. Growth scan for baby girl as she has been measuring 2 weeks ahead for a while now and the doctor wanted to check on things. She's weighing in at about 5 lbs 14 oz and in the 70th something percentile. He said he would like to go ahead and induce at 39 weeks unless I go on my own before then due to her size, which is perfectly fine to me because I don't want to have to push out a 10 pounder. My son was born at 38 weeks at 7.14 but I had gd with him.

So far sugars have been under control with her but we have big babies in our family. I was 10.1 and my brother was 12 lbs and surprisingly my mom wasn't diagnosed with gd. 😯

I am hoping and praying that she can come on her own and I get to experience the whole going into labor thing on my own. The past week I've had loose bowels, and so much pressure. Dilated to a 1 and last night had contractions that woke me up from my sleep. Like really really bad period pains.

6 weeks and we will meet her for sure. Just want her to be healthy! Here's her little lips and nose all squished up. My little piggy. 💕🐖
