Dye test?

I'm getting a dye test to make sure my tubes r open. Anyone have this before ? Does it hurt?!

I had it at the beginning of July. It was CD11. They didn't tell me anything about taking any medicine before. It was painful but not that bad. It varies if your tubes are open or not. I had a little of pain that day after the exam and then my period was a little different too.  They said it could increase your chances to conceive within the first 3 months cuz "cleans" your tubes.  I didnt get pregnant though.

I had it done last year. It sucked. I thought it hurt like a biatch! Worth it for instant results tho. Medicate before you go for sure. The nurse told me that the pain could vary from mild to a lot. Not that helpful lol

I had it done and there was some cramping during and after. Take some Tylenol before hand and have a full bladder. It helps, good luck!

I've never had one, but ive been the tech in the room many times for hysteroslapingograms. Most feel some cramping . Rarely do I see people in actual pain pain .. It's a quick test. They tell you to take Motrin beforehand . Good luck with the results !! 😀
