When to start the pill?

I haven't taken my pill in about 3 months but I want to start it back up. My period starts in 13 days is it okay to start now?

Answer

It is always okay to start the pill but some recommend taking it the Sunday after your period ends. I didn't do that though, everything is fine. I did have a very heavy first period on the pill though.
