When did your doctor do your first prenatal blood work?

I got my BFP and called my OBGYN. They said they normally don't see the patient until 7-9 weeks since start of last AF. I've been seeing lots of ladies commenting on here about early blood work with HCG levels, etc and was wondering if I'm missing something. I'd appreciate your input. Thanks!!👍

Mine was as soon as I got my positive.  But have a history with losing one so he wanted bloodwork done asap!

I called and set up my first appt at 4w, for this Friday when I will be 5w3d. She said I'll just be seeing the nurses and doing my paperwork this trip then the next I will see the dr. I'm so nervous!
