So i have gestational diabetes. I am 25 weeks and was diagnosed at 23 weeks. I keep track of blood sugar 4 times a day and have a special low carb diet. Well they gave me ranges for my blood sugar. 65-95 for fasting and 65-140 1 hour after meals. My numbers have pretty much been in range. I had 3 days at lunch time where my numbers were 140, 143, 141.... they are talking about putting me on medicine!!! Those numbers arent even that bad! My fasting numbers are in the 80's 90's and after breakfast and dinner are in the lower 120's and lower 100's... i guess because of my height and weight they are worried about me having a big baby but at 21 weeks my baby only measured 14 oz which is pretty small!!!! I really really really dont wanna take medicine!!! Cause they dont go straight to insulin they have you take these pills and they cross the placenta!!! I am freaking out.. any insight? what do you think of my numbers?
