All of the sudden I have breakthrough bleeding? 😕

I have been on a low-estrogen pill for four months and never had any problems.

I missed a pill last week, 8 DAYS AGO and I'm still having breakthrough bleeding. Like heavy heavy breakthrough bleeding. I'm only on week two of my pack and I have been taking them regularly since.

Why is this happening of all of the sudden??? What can I do? Do I need to change to another pill?

Ugh. I've been there. Kinda defeats the purpose of birth control when you're bleeding all the time. Call your doctor. You may need to change your pill. I was taking a low estrogen pill and after a few months started bleeding sometime during week two of the pack. It didn't let up until I started the next pack. Turns out that my body got used to the low dose of estrogen and I needed a higher dose. Easy fix. I've had no issues after switching. Hope this helps!
