So before I went on the shot, I wasn't on any birth control and the condom split...the next couple of days I went to the health clinic and we talked about what happened and that I should go in birth control I decided to choose the shot we did different test when I was there like pregnancy, HIV etc etc all the test where negative. She told me to come back in 4 weeks and we can do a test and see what is the results. This is the 3 week I have done tests and it's all negative. And I'm 8 days late for my period. I was wondering if the shot stops your period as the doctor said because it's my first one I should expect having a period. I'm not sure if I'm pregnant or not. Or that the shot stops your period. Any advice and opinions will be helpful
