I started my period today, and tomorrow my family plans on going swimming at a public pool. My main form of dealing with my periods is with pads, and I try to avoid using tampons because I find them extremely uncomfortable. I have also used tampons in the past to swim, but they don't always do their job. I was wondering if there was another option on such a short notice? It would be good to know for the future too.
