So my husband has a child from a previous marriage. Earlier this year we got joint custody. Which lowered his child support. Now they go through ORS. So we thought the lawyer would send a copy to them, long story short we were confused why it was still the old amount and so he called ORS yesterday. They looked up the decree and said that yes, we have been over paying. So they were going to stop payments for this month. Then continue moving forward once it was to the correct amount. Now I immediately looked at my husband, and said then we have to buy him school clothes because school starts this month. He agreed, so when she heard that ORS was not paying her she flipped. We told her we would buy school clothes, and she said that she didn't need our hand outs and that if we sent clothes home for him that she would trash them or give them away. What kind of mom does That? In reality she's hurting her child not us. It's ridiculous.
